The pellet is resuspended in PBS and gently sonicated.br /
PROTEIN CONCENTRATION: 0.7 mg/ml by dye binding (protein) assaybr /
SAFETY: We are aware of no specific hazards associated with thisbr /
product. The reagent has been inactivated and should containbr /
no infectious material. Generally accepted good laboratorybr /
practices appropriate to biological reagents should bebr /
employed when handling this product.br /
INACTIVATION: Borrelia burgdorferi grade 2 antigen is inactivated usingbr /
gamma radiationbr /
RECOMMENDATION for Use: Sonication immediately prior to use is recommended,br /
to ensure that the preparation is uniform.br /
Grade 2 antigen is widely used for both IgG and IgMbr /
detection is assays which include EIA with polystyrene andbr /
latex solid phases.br /
