Functional Aspects:
Proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) is seen in S phase of the cell cycle and also during DNA synthesis associated with DNA damage repair mechanisms. It may also be detected in non-cycling cells such as those in G0 phase. This antibody was generated using rat PCNA induced in the protein A expression vector pR1T2T.
