IMMUNOGEN: Recombinant human TLR3

FORMULATION: 100 ul antigen affinity purified goat anti-human TLR3 polyclonal antibody in phosphate buffered saline (PBS), pH 7.2, containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% thimerosal.

STORAGE CONDITIONS: Store at -20oC. For long-term storage, aliquot and freeze at -70oC. Avoid repeated freeze/defrost cycles.

BACKGROUND: To date, at least ten members of the Toll family have been identified. TLRs recognize molecular patterns associated with microbial pathogens and induce antimicrobial immune response. TLR3 recognizes double-stranded (ds)RNA, induces the activation of NF-?B, through MyD88-dependent and -independent pathways, and the production of type I interferons (IFNs). Similar to several other members of the TLR family, TLR3 has been reported to be expressed at a very low level on the surface of human fibroblast cell lines.

APPLICATION AND USAGE: The antibody can be used for Western blotting (1:500-1000). However, the optimal conditions should be determined individually.

SPECIFICITY: The antibody has been selected for its ability to recognize human TLR3 in ELISA and Western blotting.
