FORMULATION: 100 ug (0.5 mg/ml) affinity-purified rabbit anti-human TCCR polyclonal antibody in phosphate buffered saline (PBS), pH 7.2, containing 50% glycerol, 1% BSA, 0.02% sodium azide.
IMMUNOGEN: Synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 44-59 of human TCCR
SPECIES REACTIVITY: human
STORAGE CONDITIONS: Store at -20oC. For long term storage, aliquot and freeze at -70oC. Avoid repeated freeze/defrost cycles.
BACKGROUND DESCRIPTION: TCCR (T-cell cytokine receptor) is a new member in the type I cytokine receptor family. TCCR deficient mice had impaired Th1 responses to protein antigen challenge, including decreased levels if IFN-? and Th1-dependent antibody IgG2a. TCCR is predominately expressed in thymus, spleen, lymph notes, and peripheral blood leukocytes.
APPLICATION AND USAGE: The antibody can be used for Western blot analysis (1 ug/ml). However, the optimal conditions should be determined individually. Human spleen tissue lysate can be used as a positive control and an approximately 70 kDa band can be detected.
