Description
FORMULATION: 100 ug (0.2 mg/ml) affinity purified goat anti-Rb polyclonal antibody in phosphate buffered saline (PBS), pH 7.2, containing 50% glycerol, 1% BSA, 0.02% sodium azide.
SPECIES REACTIVITY: human, mouse, rat
STORAGE CONDITIONS: Store at -20oC. For long-term storage, aliquot and freeze at -70oC. Avoid repeated freeze/defrost cycles.
BACKGROUND: The retinoblastoma tumor suppressor gene product, known as Rb or pRb, regulates differentiation, apoptosis, and cell cycle control by coordinating the cell cycle, at G1-S, with transcriptional machinery that includes the heterodimeric E2F family.
APPLICATION AND USAGE: The antibody can be used for Western blotting (1-4 ug/ml), immunoprecipitation, and immunofluorecence. However, the optimal dilution conditions should be determined individually.
SPECIFICITY: The antibody detects Rb p110 of mouse, rat and human. Not cross-reactive with p107 or p130. K562 cell lysate can be used as a positive control. USAGE:
