Rat FGF-9
- 貨號 Cat. No.
- 4058-1000
- 規格 Size
- 1 mg
Description
SOURCE: E. coli
PURITY: >95% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC Endotoxin level is <0.1 ng per ug of FGF-9.
MOL. WEIGHT: 23.3 kDa
FORM: Lyophilized from 10 mM Tris, pH 7.8 + Ammmonium Sulfate.
RECONSTITUTION: Centrifuge the vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in 10 mM Tris (pH 8.0) to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. This solution can be diluted into other aqueous buffers and store at 4oC for 1 week or stored at -20oC for future use.
STORAGE CONDITIONS: The lyophilized FGF-9 is best-stored desiccated below 0oC. Reconstituted FGF-9 should be stored at 4oC or lyophilized at working aliquots. Repeated freeze/thaw cycles will result in some loss of activity. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (e.g., 0.1% BSA).
FGF-9 (also known as Glial Activating Factor) is a heparin binding growth factor that stimulates the proliferation and activation of glial cells and other cells that express FGF receptors. The rat FGF-9 is a 23.3 kDa protein containing 205 amino acid residues.
