Application_Details :

Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and Western Blotting (WB). A concentration of 1.0-2.0 µg/mL is recommended for WB. Human PP2A alpha isoform has a predicted length of 309 residues and MW of 36 kDa. A concentration of 1.0-2.0 µg/mL is recommended to detect the protein in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded tissues. Heat mediated antigen retrieval is required. Biosensis recommends optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Serine/threonine-protein phosphatase 2A is one of four major serine and threonine phosphatases and plays an important role in processes such as the regulation of the cell cycle, cell growth and division. It has a common heteromeric core enzyme composed of a catalytic subunit and a constant regulatory subunit. PP2A alpha is the alpha isoform of the catalytic subunit.
