Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and Western Blotting (WB). A concentration of 1.0-2.0 µg/mL is recommended for WB. Human ABI1 (isoform 1) has a predicted length of 508 residues and MW of 55 kDa. A concentration of 0.5-1.0 µg/mL is recommended to detect ABI1 in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded tissues as well as formalin/acetone fixed frozen tissues. Biosensis recommends optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Abelson interactor 1 (ABI1) is widely expressed with highest expression in brain. ABI1 in participation with EPS8 and SOS1  is involved in the transduction of signals from Ras to Rac. At least 10 isoforms are produced by alternative splicing.
