Pseudomonas aeruginosa Elastase (PAE)

Pseudomonas aeruginosa Elastase (PAE) is a metalloproteinase that hydrolyses insoluble elastin.

SOURCE.

PAE is isolated from a pathogenic strain of Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

SPECIFICATIONS.

Chromatographically purified, lyophilized, water soluble powder containing 150 mM NaCl.

Store -20°C. Will remain stable for 18-24 months at -20°C.

261 units per mg of protein.

One unit of PAE will hydrolyze 1 µgm insoluble elastin (EPC No. ES80) per hour at 37°C.
