IMMUNOGEN: Synthetic peptide corresponding to the N-terminus of mouse PPAR delta.
FORMULATION: 100 ug (0.5 mg/ml) immunoaffinity purified rabbit polyclonal antibody in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) containing 50% glycerol, 1% BSA, and 0.02% sodium azide.
SPECIES REACTIVITY: mouse
STORAGE CONDITIONS: Store at -20oC. For long term storage, aliquot and freeze at -70oC. Avoid repeated freeze/defrost cycles.
BACKGROUND: PPAR (Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor) is a member of the nuclear hormone receptor superfamily and functions as a transcriptional activator. PPAR?? like several other nuclear hormone receptors, heterodimerizes with retinoic X receptor (RXR) alpha to form a transcriptionally competent complex.
SPECIFICITY: The antibody recognizes ~49 kDa PPAR? from NIH3T3 cell lysate. Reactivity to other species has not been tested.
APPLICATION: The antibody can be used in Western blotting (2-4 ug/ml). However, the optimal concentrations should be determined individually. USAGE:
