IMMUNOGEN: Synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids near the N-terminus of human p53R2.
FORMULATION: 100 ug (0.5 mg/ml) immunoaffinity purified rabbit anti-p53R2 polyclonal antibody in phosphate buffered saline (PBS), pH 7.2, containing 50% glycerol, 1% BSA, 0.02% sodium azide.

STORAGE CONDITIONS: Store at -20oC. For long-term storage, aliquot and freeze at -70oC. Avoid repeated freeze/defrost cycles.
BACKGROUND: p53R2 is a p53 inducible gene that contains a p53 binding sequence and encodes a subunit of the enzyme ribonucleotide reductase. p53R2 is induced by reagents (e.g., ultraviolet and ?-irradiation) that can cause DNA damages and then functions in the p53 checkpoint for repair of damaged DNA. The isoform of the p53 family member p73 also induces p53R2 expression.
APPLICATION AND USAGE: The antibody can be used in Western blotting (1 ug/ml). An approximately 39 kDa band should be detected. 3T3 cell lysate can be used as a positive control. USAGE:
