FORMULATION: 100 ug (0.5 mg/ml) purified rabbit anti-human Oncostatin-M polyclonal antibody in phosphate buffered saline (PBS), pH 7.2, containing 50% glycerol, 1% BSA, 0.02% sodium azide.

STORAGE CONDITIONS: Store at -20oC. For long-term storage, aliquot and freeze at -70oC. Avoid repeated freeze/defrost cycles. DESCRIPTION: Oncostatin M (OSM) is an important growth regulating cytokine that affects variably a number of tumor and normal cells. Oncostatin M exerts inhibitory effects on the growth of A375 melanoma and other cellos, but augments the growth of normal fibroblasts, AIDs-related Kaposi sarcoma cells, and certain other cells.
APPLICATION: The antibody can be used for Western blot analysis (0.5-1 ug/ml) and Neutralization (0.5-2 ug/ml). However, the optimal conditions should be determined individually.
