FORMULATION: 100 ug (0.5 mg/ml) affinity purified rabbit anti-human ?-NGF polyclonal antibody in phosphate buffered saline (PBS), pH 7.2, containing 50% glycerol, 1% BSA, 0.02% sodium azide.
STORAGE CONDITIONS: Store at -20oC. For long term storage, aliquot and freeze at -70oC. Avoid repeated freeze/defrost cycles. DESCRIPTION: Nerve growth factor-beta (NGF-?) is a potent neurotrophic factor that supports the growth and survivability of nerve and/or glial cells. The active form of human NGF-? is a dimer, formed by two identical 119 amino acid subunits, which is held together by strong hydrophobic interactions.
APPLICATION AND USAGE: The antibody can be used for Western blot analysis (0.5-1 ug/ml). However, the optimal conditions should be determined individually.
