Phosphoserine is a useful tool for exploring the activation of serine containing proteins. It reacts with phosphorylated serine as a free amino acid and when conjugated to carriers such as BSA or KLH. Phosphoserine does not cross react with non-phosphorylated serine, phosphothreonine, phosphotyrosine, AMP or ATP.
