In IFA with HHV-6A and B infected cells, this MAb shows membrane or cytoplasmic fluorescence depending on the stage of infection1. Recognizes HHV-6A and B specific viral proteins by immunoprecipitation2,3. Reactive in immunohistochemistry4 on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections of oral carcinoma5 and multiple sclerosis brain tissue specimens.
