MOLT-3 is a human T-cell line established from acute lymphoblastic leukemia and is susceptible to infection with human herpes virus 6, variant B (HHV-6B) Z-29 strain.
Suspending Buffer: 100 mM Glycine, pH 9.5 with 0.05% Triton X-100

Protein Concentration: [Varies by lot] mg/mL determined by Pierce BCA protein assay using BSA standard. Alternative methods for determining protein concentration may give different values.
Sterility: Bacteria, yeast, and fungi were not detected by our assay methods.
ELISA Testing: [varies by lot] units/mL — HHV-6BZ-29 Infected MOLT-3 Cell Extract 0 units/mL — Uninfected MOLT-3 Cell Extract. A unit is defined as the reciprocal dilution that gives an absorbance of 0.500 in our test system.
Recommended Use: This preparation of uninfected MOLT-3 cell extract may be used as a negative control antigen in Immunoassays using viral antigen prepared from MOLT-3 cells.
Shipping and Storage:
This product is shipped frozen on dry ice. Store at -70°C upon receipt. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles as product degradation may result.
*Note: Upon thawing, centrifuge the vial for a few seconds to remove residual droplets from the lid.
