Reacts with the complex (~200kD) of MMP-9 and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases-1 (TIMP-1)1. Does not cross-react with pro and active forms of MMP-2.

Antibody Usage Summary:	Immunohistochemistry: LS-B2371 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody LS-D2, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B2371 was determined to be 5 ug/ml. Western Blot: 1 ug/ml for 2hrs at RT under non-reducing conditions. Immunoprecipitation: 2 ug/mg protein lysate. Use Protein G. Inhibition: 2-4 ug/ml.
