Description
| Antibody Catalog ID: | LS-B2814 |
|---|---|
| Antibody Validation: | This antibody replaces catalog number LS-C25388. It has been validated for use in the following assays: IHC-P. |
| Antibody Target: | Mannose-binding Protein C (MBL2) |
| Synonyms: | MBL2, COLEC1, HSMBPC, MBL, MBP, MBP-C, MBP1, MGC116832, MGC116833 |
| Host: | MBL2 antibody was produced in Mouse |
| Antigen Species: | MBL2 antibody was raised against Human |
| Clonality: | Monoclonal |
| Isotype: | IgG1,k |
| Antigen Type: | Purified protein |
| Immunogen: | MBL2 antibody was raised against human MBL (1). |
| Antibody Specificity: | Recognizes human MBL from serum or plasma. Epitope specificity differs from those of clones 6F141 and 6F142. In Western blot reacts with human MBL both in its polymeric conformation and as a single subunit of molecular mass 26kD. Used as detection antibody in sandwich ELISA with a mannan or clone 6F140 coat, clone 6F140 is selective for normally oligomerized MBL. |
| Purification: | Purified |
| Presentation: | PBS, pH 7.4, 500mM sodium chloride, 15mM sodium azide before the addition of glycerol to 40%. |
| Recommended Storage: | +4°C or -20°C, Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. |
| Antibody Usage Summary: | Immunohistochemistry: LS-B2814 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody LS-D2, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B2814 was determined to be 10 ug/ml. |
| Antibody Uses: | Immunohistochemistry - Paraffin (IHC-P) (10 µg/ml), Immunohistochemistry - Frozen (IHC-Fr), Western blot (WB) (1:500), ELISA (1:10000) (Optimal dilution to be determined by the researcher) |
| Size: | 50 µg |
| Concentration: | 0.5 mg/ml |
