Low Endotoxin Powder
Method of purification: Proprietary heat shock process. Additional treatments include charcoal treatment, deionization and dialysis steps.
Advantages: Equitech-Bio’s Low Endotoxin BSA has very low levels of endotoxins. It is available in large batch sizes.
Uses: It is used as a natural carrier protein for indigenous fatty acids, trace minerals and growth factors in cell culture where the endotoxin level is important.
Stability and storage: This BSA is stable for ≥ 5 years when stored at + 5° C +/- 3°C in sealed dry containers.
