FORM: Lyophilized from 5 mM Tris, pH 7.6 + 75 mM NaCl. The protein may appear as a haze or film, which you may not see at the bottom of the vial.

RECONSTITUTION: Centrifuge the vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in water to a concentration of 0.1 to 1.0 ug/ul. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at 4oC for 1 week or -20oC for future use. Repeated freeze/thaw cycles will result in some loss of activity.

STORAGE CONDITIONS: The lyophilized FGF-19 is best-stored desiccated below 0oC. Reconstituted FGF-19 should be stored at working aliquots at -20oC.

Fibroblast Growth Factor-19 (FGF-19) is a high affinity heparin dependent ligand for FGFR4. Recombinant human FGF-19 is an 21.8 kDa protein containing 195 amino acid residues.
