RECONSTITUTION: Centrifuge the vial prior to opening. It is recommended that sterile PBS + 50 ug sterile BSA per ug of FGF-10 be added to the vial to prepare a working stock solution of no less than 100 ?g/mL of FGF-10.

STORAGE CONDITIONS: The lyophilized FGF-10 is best-stored desiccated below 0oC. Reconstituted FGF-10 should be stored at working aliquots at -20oC. Repeated freeze/thaw cycles will result in some loss of activity.

Fibroblast Growth Factor-10 (also called KGF-2) is a heparin binding growth factor that stimulates the proliferation and activation of cells that express FGF receptors. FGF-10 is mostly related to FGF-7/KGF and is expressed during development and preferentially in adult lungs. The human FGF-10 is a 19.3 kDa protein containing 170 amino acid residues.
