Fluoro Catalase

This kit is based on a sensitive assay that utilizes a non-fluorescent substrate, 10-acetyl-3, 7-dihydroxyphenoxazine (ADHP), to detect H₂O₂ substrate left over from the catalase reaction. H₂O₂ oxidizes ADHP in a 1:1 stoichiometry to produce a fluorescent product resorufin (excitation at 530-571 nm, emission at 590-600 nm). This reaction is catalyzed by peroxidase in a one-step homogeneous no-wash assay system. The assay can monitor multiple time points to follow kinetics, and is adaptable for high throughput format. Applications: Fluorescence via microwell plate reader; adaptable for HTS.
