Description
| Antibody Catalog ID: | LS-B2318 |
|---|---|
| Antibody Validation: | This antibody replaces catalog number LS-C23593. It has been validated for use in the following assays: IHC-P. |
| Antibody Target: | Fibronectin 1 (FN1) |
| Synonyms: | FN1, fibronectin |
| Host: | FN1 antibody was produced in Rabbit |
| Antigen Species: | FN1 antibody was raised against Human |
| Clonality: | Polyclonal |
| Isotype: | IgG |
| Antigen Type: | Purified protein |
| Immunogen: | FN1 antibody was raised against fibronectin purified from human plasma. |
| Antibody Specificity: | Recognizes human fibronectin and has negligible cross-reactivity with Type I, II, III, IV, V or VI collagens or laminin. <1% cross-reactivity against other extracellular matrix proteins was detected by ELISA against purified standards. Non-specific cross-reactivity of anti-fibronectin antibodies with other human serum proteins or non-fibronectin extracellular matrix proteins is negligible. |
| Purification: | Affinity Chromatography |
| Presentation: | BBS, 5 mM EDTA, pH 8.0, 0.01% sodium azide, before the addition of glycerol to 40% |
| Recommended Storage: | +4°C or -20°C, Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. |
| Antibody Usage Summary: | Immunohistochemistry: LS-B2318 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody LS-D1, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B2318 was determined to be 5 ug/ml. |
| Antibody Uses: | Immunohistochemistry - Paraffin (IHC-P) (5 µg/ml), Western blot (WB) (1:2000 - 1:4000), Immunoprecipitation (IP), ELISA (1:2000 - 1:4000) (Optimal dilution to be determined by the researcher) |
| Size: | 50 µg |
| Concentration: | 0.5 mg/ml |
