ER-resident protein ERdj5 (Thioredoxin 1, ERdj5) is an endoplasmic reticulum co-chaperone that plays a role in protein folding and translocation across the endoplasmic reticulum membrane. ERdj5 acts as a co-chaperone for HSPA5.
