Description: Potent anti-cancer agent whose potential target site may be mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase. Inhibits RNA and DNA synthesis. Also inhibits eukaryotic topoisomerase I & II. Induces DNA single strand breaks and apoptosis in HeLaS3 tumor cells.
