pThis antibody recognizes the CD8 alpha antigen which is expressed on human cytotoxic/suppressor T-cells, human NK cell subset, cortical thymocyte subset and granulocytes. CD8 is a co-receptor molecule binding to MHC class I. The antibody can be used for detecting CD8 in flow cytometry and in immunohistocytology with frozen tissue sections./p
