| Antibody Specificity: | Recognizes the rat equivalent of human CD11b, the receptor for the iC3b component of complement. The antigen is expressed on most macrophages, including resident and activated peritoneal macrophages and Kupffer cells and around 35% of alveolar macrophages. The antibody also labels dendritic cells, granulocytes and microglial cells in the brain. |

| Antibody Usage Summary: | Immunohistochemistry: LS-B2343 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody LS-D2, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B2343 was determined to be 1:50-1:100. Flow Cytometry:1:50-1:100. Use 10 ul to label 10^6 cells or 100 ul whole blood. |
