pCD10 antibody recognizes neutral endopeptidase, a 100KD typeâ…¡transmembrane glycoprotein, which is referred as the Common Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Antigen (CALLA). CD10 antigen is expressed on a wide variety of normal and neoplastic cells including some subset of B and T lymphoid progenitors, germinal center cells, some granulocytes and fibroblasts. It is as a marker of common (pre-B) acute lymphocytic leukemias and these cells usually coexpress CD19, HLA-â…¡ and CD9 antigens. CD10 functions as regulator of B cell growth and proliferation by hydrolysis of peptides with proliferative/anti-proliferative effects./p
