Description
| Antibody Catalog ID: | LS-B2635 |
|---|---|
| Antibody Validation: | This antibody replaces catalog number LS-C63161. It has been validated for use in the following assays: IHC-P. |
| Antibody Target: | CAMK2 |
| Host: | Rabbit |
| Antigen Species: | Human |
| Clonality: | Polyclonal |
| Antigen Type: | Synthetic peptide |
| Immunogen: | Human CaMII phosphorylated synthetic peptide, corresponding to amino acids 281-288 and conjugated to KLH. This sequence differs from CaMKII beta by one residue |
| Antibody Specificity: | Detects ~50 and ~60 kDa proteins, corresponding to the apparent molecular masses of phosphorylated CaM Kinase II alpha and beta phosphorylated at Thr286 on SDS-PAGE immunoblots, in samples from human, mouse, rat, bovine, canine, hamster, monkey, pig, rabbit and sheep origins. This antibody is specific for phosphorylated CaM Kinase II (Thr286) and does not exhibit reactivity with non-phosphorylated CaM Kinase II |
| Antigen Modification: | pThr286 |
| Predicted Species Reactivity: | Bovine, Dog, Hamster, Monkey, Mouse, Porcine, Rabbit, Rat, Sheep |
| Purification: | Immunoaffinity Chromatography |
| Presentation: | Glycine buffer neutralized, Tris, 50% glycerol. |
| Recommended Storage: | +4°C or -20°C, Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. |
| Antibody Usage Summary: | Immunohistochemistry: LS-B2635 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody LS-D1, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B2635 was determined to be 5 ug/ml. |
| Antibody Uses: | Immunohistochemistry - Paraffin (IHC-P) (5 µg/ml), Western blot (WB) (2 µg/ml), Immunoprecipitation (IP) (12.5 µg/ml) (Optimal dilution to be determined by the researcher) |
| Size: | 50 µg |
| Concentration: | 1 mg/ml |
