pbBACKGROUND: /bBcl-10 is a cellular homolog of the equine herpesvirus-2 E-10 gene. Over expression of Bcl-10 induces JNK, p38, and NF-?B activation. Bcl-10 interacts with caspase-9 and enhances procaspase-9 processing and induces apoptosis through caspase-9 activation. Bcl-10 exhibits a variety of mutations in MALT lymphomas and in B and T cell lineage lymphomas indicating that it may be commonly involved in the pathogenesis of human malignancy. Bcl-10 is expressed in many human and murine tissues and cell lines./p
pbAPPLICATION AND USAGE: /bThe antibody detects 31 kDa Bcl-10 in Western blotting (0.5-4 ug/ml). It can also be used in immunofluorescence (5-10 ug/ml). However, the optimal conditions should be determined individually. Raji cell lysate can be used as a positive control./p
