 Immunohistochemistry: LS-B3660 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody LS-D1, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B3660 was determined to be 5 ug/ml. Von Willebrand Factor Antibody Specificity

 

Immunogen:

Von Willebrand Factor antibody was raised against purified antisera of the von Willebrand Factor (factor VIII R: ag) related antigen in plasma.

 

Specificity:

Recognizes the human Factor VIII Related Antigen. Specifically reacts with the cytoplasm of human endothelial cells from normal and neoplastic blood and from lymphatic vessels. Also reacts with human endocardium, platelets and megakaryocytes. Factor VIII R:Ag endocytosed by other cells may also react.
