After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody LS-D1, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. Immunogen: SLC17A8 / VGLUT3 antibody was raised against a 16 residue synthetic peptide derived from C terminal domain of rat Vesicular Glutamate Transporter type 3 (VGLUT3).

Epitope: C-Terminus

Specificity: Antiserum to rat VGLUT3 reacts specifically with 60-62kD protein of BON cells stably expressing VGLUT3 and of total rat brain extracts. No reactivity was detected with VGLUT1 and VGLUT2.
