An IHC-plusTM AntibodyImmunohistochemistry: LS-B425 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody LS-D1, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. Immunogen: Osteopontin antibody was raised against synthetic peptide from human SPP1 / Osteopontin.

Epitope: N-Terminus

Specificity: Synthetic peptide C-K-S-K-K-F-R-R-P-D-I-Q-Y-P-D corresponding to human osteopontin proteins conjugated to KLH using maleimide. A residue of cysteine was added to the amino terminal end to facilitate coupling.
