 Immunohistochemistry: LS-B3440 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody LS-D2, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B3440 was determined to be 5 ug/ml. Learn more

Immunogen:

NGFR antibody was raised against nerve Growth Factor Receptor from A875 melanoma cells. Cellular Localization: Cell surface and cytoplasmic.

 

Epitope:

Extracellular Domain

 

Specificity:

Recognizes a glycoprotein of 75kD, identified as low affinity Nerve Growth Factor Receptor (p75NGFR) or Neurotrophin Receptor (p75NTR). Epitope: aa1-160 of extracellular domain of NGFR/NTR. Species cross-reactivity: Human, monkey (Cebus apella, Macaca fascicularis, Mulatta and Nemestrina), baboon (Papio anubis and Cynocephalus), feline, rabbit and ferret. Does not cross-react with mouse or rat.
