An IHC-plusTM AntibodyImmunohistochemistry: LS-B3608 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody LS-D3, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B3608 was determined to be 2.5 ug/ml. Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:128000. Western Blot: Approx. 55kD band observed in Human Lung, Skeletal Muscle and Skin lysates (calculated MW of 49.6kD according to NP_705694.2). The observed molecular weight corresponds to earlier findings in literature with different antibodies (Sajjan, Microbiology. 2003 Apr;149(Pt 4):961-71.; PMID: 12686638).
