 Immunohistochemistry: LS-B3302 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody LS-D2, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B3302 was determined to be 10 ug/ml. Learn more

KIF5B Antibody Specificity

 

Immunogen:

KIF5B antibody was raised against enriched fraction of porcine brain kinesin.

 

Specificity:

The antibody reacts with heavy chain of conventional kinesin associated with vesicles and with lower affinity with denatured molecule. The antibody recognizes kinesin bound to Taxol-stabilized microtubules. Species cross-reactivity: Cross-reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and porcine. Not yet tested in other species.
