This antibody recognizes human kappa chains.The specificity of the anti-kappa antibody has been verified in indirect ELISA against highly purified human myeloma proteins of different classes and subclasses. The antibody can be used for detecting human kappa light chains in ELISA, flow cytometry and immunohistocytology with frozen and paraffin-embedded tissue sections.

FACS with whole blood: 100 μl blood + 1 μl antibody

FACS with cells: 10E6 cells in 100 μl + 1 μl antibody

This antibody recognizes human kappa chains. In flow cytometry, the antibody stains >95% of Daudi cells (κ, μ, δ positive), and <5% of Ramos cell (λ, μ, δ positive). The antibody does not react with IgG kappa light chain from goat, guinea pig, hamster, rabbit and sheep.
