 Immunohistochemistry: LS-B3734 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody LS-D2, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B3734 was determined to be 10 ug/ml. Application note: The antibody 4H84 has been tested as the capture antibody in a sandwich ELISA for analysis of heavy chains of all HLA-G isoforms in combination with antibody MEM-G/1 (Cat# LS-C46298). HLA-G antibody was raised against amino acids 61-83 of HLA-G of human origin.

 

Epitope:

aa61-83

 

Specificity:

Recognizes HLA-G molecule (39 kD). HLA-G belongs to the MHC Class I molecules (MHC Class Ib; nonclassical) and it is expressed on the surface of trophoblast cells.
