 Immunohistochemistry: LS-B3318 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody LS-D2, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B3318 was determined to be 10 ug/ml. Learn more

GC / VDBP Antibody Specificity

 

Immunogen:

GC antibody was raised against gc-globulin isolated from human plasma.

 

Specificity:

Recognizes human Gc-globulin. Epitope specificity differs from those of clones 6F109, 6F110, and 6F111. Strong reaction is seen in ELISA with Gc-globulin coated directly onto the microtiter well and when tested in sandwich ELISA in combination with a polyclonal antibody against Gc-globulin. In Western blotting after SDS-PAGE reacts with Gc-globulin in both reduced as well as unreduced forms.
