 Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence microscopy and Immunohistochemistry (frozen and paraffin-embedded tissue, cell sorting, cytological material). Immunohistochemistry-P: LS-B3709 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. EPCAM antibody was raised against hT-29 colon carcinoma cell line.

 

Specificity:

Antigen Recognized in Human Species (tested so far). Cell Lines (tested so far) with colon carcinoma cell lines (HT-29, WiDr, SW1116). Recognizes the epithelial cell adhesion molecule Ep-CAM (also described as 17-1A antigen or EPG34).
