 Immunohistochemistry: LS-B3751 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody LS-D1, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. CSNK2A1 Antibody Specificity

 

Immunogen:

CSNK2A1 antibody was raised against a 20 residue synthetic peptide LKPVKKKKIKREIKILENLR based on the human CK2-alpha sequence (residues 70-89) was synthesized with a C-terminus GGC linker peptide and the peptide coupled to KLH. This peptide sequence is identical to that found in the alpha subunit of CK2 from rat, mouse, rabbit, chicken, Xenopus, C. elegans, and zebrafish.

Specificity:

Recognizes -45 kD and -41 kD proteins, corresponding to the apparent molecular masses of CK2 alpha and CK2 alpha on SDSPAGE immunoblots. An additional band with an apparent molecular mass of -38 kD is detected in brain and heart tissue extracts.
