 Immunohistochemistry: LS-B3656 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody LS-D2, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B3656 was determined to be 10 ug/ml. Immunogen:

CD62P antibody was raised against cD62P transfected 300.19 cells.

 

Specificity:

Recognizes the CD62P cell surface antigen, a 140kD glycoprotein also known as P-selectin. CD62P is expressed by activated platelets and endothelial cells, and plays an important role in adhesive processes between leucocytes and endothelial cells
