 Immunohistochemistry: LS-B3672 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody LS-D2, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B3672 was determined to be 10 ug/ml. Learn more

Caspase 9 Antibody Specificity

 

Immunogen:

Caspase 9 antibody was raised against recombinant human caspase-9 prodomain protein.

 

Specificity:

Detects an ~46-50 kD protein, corresponding to the apparent molecular mass of the caspase-9 on SDS-PAGE immunoblots, in samples from human and monkey origins. This antibody recognizes the pro-caspase-9 human recombinant protein as well as pro-caspase -9 from human and monkey cell lysates.
