 Immunohistochemistry: LS-B3671 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody LS-D2, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B3671 was determined to be 10 ug/ml. Learn more

Caspase 7 Antibody Specificity

 

Immunogen:

Caspase 7 antibody was raised against recombinant human caspase-7 full length protein.

 

Specificity:

Detects an ~37 kD protein, corresponding to the apparent molecular mass of the caspase-7 on SDS-PAGE immunoblots, in samples from human, mouse, rat, monkey and hamster origins. This antibody recognizes recombinant caspase-7 as well as full length pro-caspase-7 and processed enzyme from apoptotic Jurkat cell lysates.
