 Immunohistochemistry: LS-B3757 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody LS-D2, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B3757 was determined to be 10 ug/ml. Learn more

AMPH / Amphiphysin Antibody Specificity

 

Immunogen:

AMPH / Amphiphysin antibody was raised against recombinant human Amphiphysin.

 

Specificity:

Detects a ~128 kD protein, corresponding to the apparent molecular mass of Amphiphysin I on SDS-PAGE immunoblots, in samples from human, mouse, rat, bovine, canine, hamster, monkey and rabbit origins. A 108 kD isoform may be observed in some tissues or cell lysates. The epitope is located within the carboxyl terminal region of Amphiphysin I (residues 545-695). Rat brain immunostaining using this antibody in immunofluorescence shows synaptic distribution.
